40 by 4 meter swimming pool, in a magnificent stone basin, built by the ancients to store water from our spring.
Secured pool, accessible from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., to guarantee quietness. Outside these hours, a noiseless use is tolerated.

This gite is the most intimate and “cosy” of all. It is ideal for a couple or 4 people. Great luminosity and beautiful views on the south facade of the house. Stone walls, bleached wood mezzanine, terracotta and lime plaster create a warm atmosphere.

This gite is remarkable for its large living space, topped 6 meters higher with a whitewashed framework. Its large walls coated with yellow and red ocher lime as well as its terracotta floors bring a warm southern atmosphere.

History of our place
La Fraissinède was, at the end of the 19th century, one of the largest wine estates in the region. At the time, many workers lived here, as well as horses. Unfortunately, the Languedoc wine crisis in 1907 was the beginning of a difficult economic period. Many vineyards were abandoned in the years that followed, La Fraissinède was no exception.
Your hosts, Alain and Laurence, bought this estate in 2007 and completely renovated it, in order to revive this place which has so much charm. The gites are the old worker’s houses or barns of the estate.
After many years in the Paris region as computer engineers, in 2007, we realized our dream: leave our stressful life and start accomodating tourists in a beautiful and quiet place. Luckily, we found the domain of La Fraissinède.
We spent 15 years restoring the estate ourselves with passion: interiors, roofs, swimming pool. At the same time, we have welcomed families from all over the world, making wonderful encounters. Some have returned many times, friendships have been born…
We sometimes travel, focusing on hiking and scuba diving.
