Please respect the calm and tranquillity of La Fraissinede and get about only by foot.
Please be quiet between 10pm and 10am

We ask you to refrain from smoking inside the gites and around the pool.
Please do not throw cigarette butts in the garden nor smoke in the woods.

There is a great risk of fires in this region.
Please be prudent when using the BBQ, do not make fires and please keep matches and lighters well away from children. In case of need, you will find 2 taps along the house (one in front of the house, one behind). |

You will find a fire extinguisher in each gite. If a fire starts, call the firemen immediately (18).
Each gite has a smoke detector.
If it goes off, you can stop it by pressing a few seconds on the button on the plastic hood. |

Water is a rare commodity in the south of France.
Our water is provided by a spring. The advantage is that it is pure and excellent to drink. The water supply being limited, please be economic when using showers, etc |

You can dispose of your rubbish in the brown bins found at the end of the alley way.
There is a recycling collection for glass, cardboard, tins and plastique.
You can put your recycling in the containers down the road. Do not put any products in thin plastic or paper (yogourts, wrapping materials…) |

We have a septic tank.
Therefore, you must not use bleach or throw anything (like tampons, cotton etc) down the toilet. |

For you departure (Saturday before 10am) please leave the gite as orderly as you found it on arrival. Hoover, floor cloth, scrub brush, broom, cleaning products are at your disposal. If something is missing, please come to us … Please leave the kitchen clean, do the dishes, put everything back in its place and throw your garbage away. Please remove bed sheets and pillowcases (leave the white ones) and leave all linen on the washing machine. |

Internet access by Wifi is possible in all houses (no code).

All gites are equipped with a satellite decoder. Our antenna is set onto ASTRA satellite, which broadcasts all frenchs programs and many from other countries (Germany, ...). The user manual is in the gite, you can download it here: |

Local shops
In Montlaur, you will find a grocery VivaL, which also sells newspapers and bread. There is also a very good butchers, a chemist and a post office. The closest supermakets are in Trèbes (Super U, Intermarché) and in Lézignan-Corbières (Intermarché, Carrefour Market) |

AURORE et HESPERIE If
the current is completely switched off, open the electrical control
cabinet and verify the main circuit breaker, which is on the upper
level of the gite HESPERIE (on the left of the bathroom entrance). If the grey button is not pushed in, you must push it in. It might be necessary to first switch off one “high consuming” electrical device (washing machine, dishwasher). If only one
line is cut, you must verify the circuit breakers, next to the main
circuit breaker. You must change the fuse which has blown (see the
electrical plan). A box containing new fuses can be found on the shelves next to the W.C., in HESPERIE. |

APOLLON If the current is completely switched off, open the electrical control cabinet and verify the main circuit breaker. If the grey button is not pushed in, you must push it in. It might be necessary to first switch off one “high consuming” electrical device (washing machine, dishwasher). If only one line is out, you must put the right switch back to “ON” (upper position). The Brandt cooking stove has induction plates. They only function if there is a pan on the cooking zone. VULCAIN The electrical control cabinet is at the entrance of the gite, on the right, in the wooden cupboard. The main circuit breaker for the gite is in the neighbour gite APOLLON. The light switches for the sitting-room and mezzanine are on the landing of the staircase. The switch for the outdoor lights is under the bar (left switch). A spot light with a presence detector is in the entry of the gite. If you wish to set it off, use the light switch situated under the spot. To switch on the oven or the stove, you can read this document. |

The pool is open between 10am and 10pm. The swimming pool is for gite tenants and owners only.

Please do not bring glasses or bottles to the pool. A broken glass would mean we would have to empty the pool to avoid the risk of accident.

The depth of the pool is 1m50. Do not let you children jump or dive nor run. Please ask them not to shout.

There is no surveillance of the swimming pool – you use the swimming pool at your own risk. Children who use the swimming pool are under their parents’ responsibility. Children who are under 10 years old must be accompanied by a parent. Do not allow a child who cannot swim into the swimming pool without a lifejacket or arm bands.

Access to the pool is protected by a door which has an automatic magnetic locking device, which children less than 5 years old can not reach.

The water quality is checked every year by a public organiation (DDASS). To preserve it, it is important to take a shower before entering the pool.
In case of accident:

Remove the child from the water as quickly as possible. Replace wet clothes with warm covers.

Call immediately rescue services and follow their advice.
